Hey, I'm Tina. I was born in Vietnam and raised on the East Coast, in a family surrounded by music and art. My parents were well-known entertainers—my father a composer and my mother a singer—so creativity and connection were always a part of my upbringing. After completing my education, I began my career with the U.S. State Department in the Foreign Service, where I lived and worked across Southeast Asia, speaking four languages. Those years instilled in me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and the importance of fostering relationships. Eventually, I stepped away from my career to focus on raising my children.

My path into health insurance came by chance when I helped my parents navigate their Medicare onboarding, and through a large group of advisors on other insurance products; however, I found health insurance is more satisfying. What began as a way to support my family soon grew into a lifelong calling. That's when I started Insurance Resources NW in 2013, after 2 years as an agent. For more than 12 years, I've had the privilege of guiding individuals and families through their healthcare choices, and I love it just as much as when I first started. In my spare time, I love gardening and traveling domestically and overseas.
