I was born in Vietnam and raised on the East Coast, where I grew up in a family surrounded by music and art. My parents were well-known entertainers—my father a composer and my mother a singer—so creativity and connection were always a part of my upbringing.

After completing my education, I began my career with the U.S. State Department in the Foreign Service, where I lived and worked across Asia and Southeast Asia, speaking four languages. Those years instilled in me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and the importance of fostering relationships.

Eventually, I stepped away from my career to focus on raising my children, and later, as a single mom, I learned the true meaning of resilience. My path into health insurance came by chance when I helped my parents navigate Medicare. What began as a way to support my family soon grew into a lifelong calling. That's when I started the Insurance Resources NW in 2013. For more than 12 years, I've had the privilege of guiding individuals and families through their healthcare choices, and I still love it just as much as when I first started.
